As the spring approaches, we begin looking forward to next year. Conversations are already happening – in the production office, in the cafeteria, in the auditorium lighting booth. This is a very good thing!
We used to wait until April or May to pitch our productions, but we need to accelerate the process. If you want to be involved with planning and choosing next year’s shows (you should), then please take note:
We are starting a play-reading series, beginning with the plays being pitched for next year: Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night led by Aurora Flynn (Date TBD), and The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds, led by Jesse Zeldes (Date TBD). Anyone interested in joining in – reading and/or listening – will be welcome!
If YOU are planning to pitch a production idea for next year, please contact Stephen Eldredge to get your play on the reading calendar.
Let’s get started!
